Why this exists
A little less noise.
A little more care.
These days you can barely tell who's writing what. Everything is faster, louder and increasingly made by a machine. So I'm doing something a little old-fashioned. I'll share what I've been thinking about, strange little discoveries, stories from people I've met, things I've read and the occasional rabbit hole I've fallen down. Some of it might make you laugh. Some of it might make you question something you thought you knew. And every so often there'll be a little surprise tucked inside.

What's inside
the envelope?
- A letter from me. Written by hand, then reproduced and mailed to you.
- A little something extra. Maybe a postcard, a drawing or something I found interesting that week.
- An open invitation to write back. Tell me what you think. Disagree with me. Send me something interesting of your own.
That's it. There's no homework and no pressure to join in. Just a bit of good old-fashioned mail.

Is every letter handwritten individually?
The original letter is written by hand and then reproduced on quality paper. It keeps the handwriting and personality without making the club impossible to run.
How often will I receive a letter?
One envelope every month once subscriptions are live. The first posting date will go out to the list before payment opens.
Is postage included?
Yes, standard postage within Australia is included in the $17 AUD monthly subscription. International shipping isn't available at launch.
What happens after I join the list?
Nothing, until the first letter is ready. Then you'll get one email with the date and a link to subscribe. If it's not for you, ignore it and that's the end of it.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It's month to month. Cancel whenever you like and your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.
Can I reply to a letter?
That's part of the idea. Reply details will come inside your first letter.
